Ian joined Elders in April 2024 as a Finance Broker, bringing with him over 38 years of experience in the finance industry. He began his career in 1988, initially specialising in consumer finance before transitioning into commercial banking in 1999 with QIDC. By 2003, Ian had advanced to the role of Commercial Business Banking Manager, overseeing the Central Queensland region.
Following this, Ian became the Owner Manager of Bank of Queensland Yeppoon, where he and his business partner successfully grew the branch from a greenfield site into one of the largest in the network.
Ian offers a wealth of expertise in commercial banking, equipment finance, premium funding, and debtor finance. He is deeply passionate about customer service and relationship building, and takes great pride in helping clients achieve their financial goals. His commitment to supporting local businesses remains as strong today as it has throughout his career.
Outside of work, Ian enjoys travelling, golfing, reading, walking his dog, and watching local rugby league. He is married and a proud father of three adult children and grandfather to one grandson.
