Elders is pleased to welcome back Tom, who rejoined the business in June 2025 as an Agri Finance Relationship Manager. He brings with him a wealth of experience gained through several years with a major regional bank and over two decades in the agricultural industry. His career has spanned senior leadership roles, farm and stud management, business relationship management, and product development.
Tom is one of the few Agribusiness Bankers with genuine hands-on farming experience, having personally managed operations across wool, cropping, livestock, feedlots, dairy, and stud enterprises. This practical background, combined with a Bachelor of Science from Charles Sturt University, gives him a strong understanding of both the financial and operational needs of farming businesses.
His passion for agriculture and animal nutrition is reflected in his work. While in agri-financial services, Tom managed a diverse portfolio of clients, including family-owned and corporate enterprises across the cropping and livestock sectors. He is known for building long-term relationships, taking the time to understand each client’s business goals and supporting both short- and long-term growth, including succession planning for future generations.
Tom will be servicing clients across key areas of Victoria, including Ballarat, Bacchus Marsh, Ararat, Daylesford, Skipton, Stawell, St Arnaud, Avoca, Kyneton, and Maryborough. His specialty areas include livestock, wool, studs, cropping, feedlots, and dairy.
