Introducing Click to Pay

Click to Pay is a new secure and convenient way for Elders Finance Visa Debit card holders to check out online. It allows you to pay at participating online stores without entering your card details every time you shop.

Click to Pay uses secure technology and tokenisation to help protect your card information during online purchases. It's a free service and you choose if you wish to enrol to use it.  Read on to discover how to enrol, use and control this new payment method.

Do I automatically get access to Click to Pay? How do I enrol?

Click to Pay is completely optional. Elders Finance customers will not be automatically enrolled in Click to Pay.
If you would like to use Click to Pay, you can enrol your eligible Elders Finance Visa Debit card through Visa's Click to Pay website. Alternatively, enrol during checkout at a participating online store.
Tip: You will likely need to follow Visa’s prompts to verify your identity and create your Click to Pay profile.

Is Click to Pay secure?

Your card information is securely stored and Click to Pay uses tokenisation to help reduce the exposure of your card details during online transactions. For added security, you may also be asked to enter a one-time verification code or complete another security check to confirm that it is you making the purchase.
Remember:  You should only enrol or use Click to Pay through Visa’s official website or the checkout of a legitimate participating online store.

Where can I use Click to Pay?

You can use Click to Pay at participating online stores that support the service. Look for the Click to Pay icon (shown here) when checking out.
Note: Click to Pay is for online purchases and cannot be used for purchases made in-store or at an ATM.

How do I use Click to Pay?

Once your card is enrolled, you can use Click to Pay at participating online stores. Simply:

  1. Select Click to Pay at checkout.
  2. Enter the email address or mobile number associated with your Click to Pay profile.
  3. If requested, enter the one-time verification code sent to you.
  4. Choose your preferred card.
  5. Review and complete your purchase.

Can I still use my card if I don’t enrol in Click to Pay?

Yes. Your Elders Finance Visa Debit card will continue to work as normal whether you choose to enrol in Click to Pay or not. Choosing not to enrol will not affect how you use your card for other online purchases, in-store purchases or ATM transactions.

Is there a fee to use Click to Pay?

There are no additional Elders Finance fees for using Click to Pay. Any fees that may ordinarily apply to your card or transaction will continue to apply.

Do I need to download an app?

No. As Click to Pay works through participating online stores and can be managed through Visa’s Click to Pay website, You don't need to download an additional app.

How do I manage or remove my Click to Pay profile?

If you enrol directly with Visa, you can use Visa’s Click to Pay consumer portal to manage your saved Visa cards, update eligible profile details or delete your Click to Pay profile.

Removing your Elders Visa Debit card from Click to Pay, or deleting your Click to Pay profile, will not cancel or otherwise affect your card.

Can I manage Click to Pay through Elders Finance Online Banking?

No. Click to Pay cannot currently be managed through Elders Finance Online Banking. If you enrolled directly with Visa, you can manage your saved Visa cards and eligible profile details through Visa’s Click to Pay consumer portal.

What happens if my card is replaced or renewed?

Your card details may be updated automatically when an enrolled card is replaced or renewed.

If your replacement or renewed card does not appear correctly in Click to Pay, log in to your Click to Pay profile directly with Visa to review your saved cards. You may need to remove the previous card or enrol the new card.

What if I don’t receive my verification code?

Check that the email address or mobile number associated with your Click to Pay profile is correct. You can manage your Click to Pay contact details through Visa’s Click to Pay website.
Tip: you should also check your email junk or spam folder and confirm that your mobile device can receive messages.

If you are still unable to receive a verification code, follow the support options provided by Visa during the Click to Pay process.

Why do I need an email address or mobile number?

Your email address or mobile number helps Click to Pay identify your profile and may be used to send you a verification code. This provides an additional security check and helps Click to Pay display your enrolled cards when you shop online.

How will a Click to Pay purchase appear on my account?

A Click to Pay purchase is still a Visa card transaction. It will appear in your transaction history in the same way as another online card purchase, usually using the participating merchant’s name.

What if I don’t recognise a Click to Pay transaction?

If you notice a card transaction you do not recognise, contact Elders Finance as soon as possible. You'll find our contact details on our website or on the back of your card.

Who should I contact if I need help?

For assistance with your Click to Pay profile, enrolment, verification code or saved cards, use the support options provided by Visa.
